THE TSU FLYING TIGERS QUALIFY FIVE FOR NCAA MID-EAST REGIONALS

The TSU Flying Tigers Qualify Five Runners for NCAA 1. Ronald Morris a senior from Madison, TN will participate in the NCAA Mid-East Regional Championships which will be held May 25-26-27, 2007 at The University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri. Morris won the 200 meters dash in 21.58 and in the 400 meters dash in 47.13 meter dashes in the OVC Championship held last month. 2. Chris Howell a senior from Southfirld IL qualified for the NCAA by winning the OVC 100 meter dash in 10.77 and clocking a 21.60 in the 200 meter dash. 3. Dominique Rodgers, a junior from Brendenton, FL also a TSU football player qualified for the NCAA by winning the OVC Indoor Long jump with a leap of 25'00.75". 4. Buford Williams a junior from Nashville, TN also qualified in the Long Jump at the OVC Outdoor Championship with a leap of 23'6.75". And 5. Bryan Johnson a junior from Madison, TN qualified in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 52.94.
