Buford Williams Wins Long Jump in Ed Temple Meet Nashville, TN Worlie Johnson came in 6th in the 55-meter dash with a time of (6.58) and Saihou Mbenga came in 14th with a time of (6.58). Ronald Morris take 2nd place in 200 meter dash with a time of (21,96) and Bryan Johnson took a 12th place finish with a time of (22.76) and Chris Howell took 16th with a time of (22.84).Ronald Morris took 2nd place running the 400 meter dash in (49.06) and Roy Fraction took 17th in (51.98) while Chris Howell took 22nd with a time of (52.79). Anes Koko took 8th place in the mile run with a time of (4:39.19), while Gary Mays took the mile in (4:45.67) Anes Koko ran the 800 meter in (2:00.34)Gary Mays took 14th in the same event with a time of (2:07.94) Xavier Butler ran the 3,000 meter run in (9:58.76) for a 9th place finish. Roy Fraction took 17th place in the 55 meter hurdles in (8.03). TSU "A" Team in the 4x200 meter relay took 7th place with a time (1:35.24). TSU's 4x400 meter relay team clocked a (3:23.66) for 4th place. Buford Williams took 5th place in the high jump with a (6'4.75") jump. Buford Williams won the long jump with a leap of (25'8.00") Britt, Trenton came in 3rd in the triple jump with a leap of (46-09.50). Antonio Hudson took 8th place in shot put with a throw of 36'08.50". The Flying Tigers will compete this week-end at the Niswonger Foundation Invitational Track Meet held at East Tennessaee State in Johnson City, TN.on the 26th and 27th.
