FLYING TIGER CROSS COUNTRY TEAM FIFTH IN AUC INVITATIONAL

ATLANTA --- A sixth place finish by Evan Wimberly highlighted the Tennessee State men's cross country team's appearance in the Atlanta University Center Invitational. As a team, the Tigers took fifth among a field of seven teams. Wimberly ran the 8K course in Mozley Park in a time of 29 minutes and 51 seconds, just 1:21 out of the top spot. Samuel Betts was 24th for TSU with a time of 36:12. The Tigers finished with a team total of 171. Morehouse College rolled to the win with a 24. In second place was Clafin, followed by Paine, Benedict, TSU, Clark-Atlanta, and Tuskegee.
