Tennis Finishes Fall Campaign at Coach Lalance Showdown

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. --- The Tennessee State men's tennis team finished its weekend at the Coach Dick Lalance Showdown against fellow Ohio Valley Conference team, the Belmont Brunis. 

In doubles, the team of Grand Maddox and Pavle Popovic fell to Belmont 6-2 in the No. 1 slot, followed by a 6-3 win for Tigers Tanishq Manhendru and Shashank Nautiyal. The victory agasint Belmont was the third win of the weekend for Mahendru and Nautiyal, going undefeated in doubles. 

Belmont swept singles play defeating Grant Maddox in the No. 1 slot, Tanishq Mahendru in No. 2, Pavle Popovic in No. 3, and Kato Richardson in No. 4, who made his first appearance of the Coach Lalance Showdown in his match agasint Belmont.
