OPENING SERVE: The Tigers hit the road for three matches against Arkansas Pine Bluff on Mar. 3 and Rhodes College and LeMoyne Owen on Mar. 4.
LAST TIME OUT: The Tigers dropped a 4-3 match against Cumberland. TSU won two doubles matches and a pair of singles matches against Cumberland before dropping four out of six singles matches. Kyle Burton and Shashank Nautiyal were the pair of Tigers to walk away with singles wins. Burton teamed up with Tom Parant to earn a hard fought doubles win and Nautiyal paired up with Jorge Rodriguez to cruise to an easy doubles win.
ABOUT ARKANSAS PINE-BLUFF: The Golden Lions are 1-10 this season with their lone win coming against Alabama A&M. Pine Bluff is coached by James Cowan who is in his fourth season as the head of the program.
ABOUT RHODES: The Lynx are coming off a 9-0 win against Hendix on Feb. 26. Rhodes has 14 student-athletes on the roster and are off to an undefeated season boasting a 7-record.
ABOUT LEMOYNE-OWEN: The Magicians are 0-2 up to this point in the season. Avery Coins leads seven student-athletes into the match against the Tigers.
UP NEXT: The Tigers will have a three game home-stand starting with the first conference match against Austin Peay on Mar. 17.
