My TSU Experience: Rosario Falzone

Rosario Falzone was a four-year member of the men’s golf team. Falzone capped off his career with a top finish at the PGA WORKS Intercollegiate Championships in his final event as a Tiger. The Nashville, Tenn. product recorded his best score on a par-72 course with a 3-under, 69, on day one of the event, leading him to the individual title.Maintaining a GPA of 3.76, Falzone graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Finance. TSUTigers: Talk about your overall TSU experience.
A:  It’s been a great experience. I feel I’ve learned a lot about myself.

TSUTigers: What do you love most about TSU?
A: The friends I’ve made.

TSUTigers: What will you miss most about TSU?
A: I’ll miss competing every day.

TSUTigers: What is your most memorable moment in your sport at TSU?
A: Our Florida trip my freshman year.

TSUTigers: Do you have a favorite TSU fan/supporter? If so, who?
A:Jose is the best, he’s always cheering for us.

TSUTigers: What advice would you give to incoming freshman?
A: Enjoy the time here, and don’t get ahead of yourself.

TSUTigers: What was your most challenging class at TSU?
A: Intermediate microeconomics.

TSUTigers: Who was your favorite professor?
A: Dr. Ghosh

TSUTigers: What organizations were you a part of outside of your sport?
A: I was on the SAAC board for two years.

TSUTigers: Who have been the most influential people to you at TSU?
A: Coach McGrath, Dr. Ghosh and Jose Garcia

TSUTigers: What’s next for you?
A: I’ll be participating in more golf tournaments this summer.

TSUTigers: Once you are an alumnus, how will you stay connected with TSU?
A: Through athletics, Jose, Coach and professors

TSUTigers: What do you know now that you didn’t know coming in as a freshman?
A: I’ve learned how to perform stock analysis. 

TSUTigers: Is there anything else that you would like to say to the TSU family?
A: It’s been a fantastic four years. Go Tigers!
