Golf Finishes 11th in TSU Intercollegiate

Hermitage, Tenn. --- Host Tennessee State finished in 11th place in the second annual TSU Big Blue Intercollegiate held at Hermitage Golf Course in Hermitage, Tenn.

Tennessee State recorded an 894 in the 12-team tournament.
 

Chris Seibel (74-71-75) and Ryan Smith (74-73-73) led the Tigers with a tournament total of 220 and tied for 25th place. Dorian Vauls shot a 72 in the third round and finished tied for 41st with a 223 (74-73-72) for the tournament.

Richard Gill tallied a 231 (73-76-82) while Chris McKay finished with a 249 (81-86-82).

Individual golfer Hunter Green won the tournament with an 11-under-par 205 (68-69-68).

Intra-city rival Belmont took first place with an 8-under-par 856 while OVC opponent Murray State  was four strokes behind with an 860 in second.

 

Tennessee Tech and UT Martin, tied for third place, carding 870s.
