Future Tiger Golfer Trying To Make U.S. Open Incoming Junior Matt Rosen of Tucson, Arizona is competing in sectional U. S. Open qualifying in Rockville, Maryland. Rosen, a transfer student from Scottsdale Community College in Arizona, finished third at the local Scottsdale U.S. Open Qualifying at the Tucson C.C. earlier this year. 51 golfers will be competing for 4 spots in the nations' top tournament. He also won the 2005 Phoenix College Invite and carried a 73.20 stroke average in Spring '05. His hobbies and other interests is country music and fitness. TSU Golf Coach Knight said this about Matt "Matt is playing well this summer and has a good chance at moving up."
