HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. --- Tennessee State golfer Robert Dinwiddie shared medalist while the Tigers finished in an eighth place tie in the rain-delayed F&M Bank Austin Peay Intercollegiate that concluded Tuesday afternoon. Due to time constraints, a played between Robert Dinwiddie and Kenja Murayama of the University of New Orleans was not held. Both Dinwiddie and Murayama finished with 54-hole totals of 205. Dinwiddie had rounds of 64, 70, and 71 on the par-72, 6,841-yard, The Links of Novadell course. Dinwiddie's round of 64 tied a competitive course and tournament record. As a team the Tigers show an 869 to finish tied with Troy University in the 16-team field. Host Austin Peay fired an 842 to win by 13 strokes over second-place Samford University. TSU's Phillip Watkins shot a 214 to finish in a 12th place tie. Other TSU scores were Jordan Roberts 221, Lawrence Larson 229, and Matthew Buley 241.
