TIGER GOLFERS TAKE LEAD INTO FINALDAY OF GOLF COAST COLLEGIATE CLASSIC

BAY ST. LOUIS, MISS. --- The Tennessee State golf team will carry a seven-stroke lead into the final round of the Gulf Coast Collegiate Classic being held at the Bridges Golf Resort. The Tigers fired a 292 on Monday at the par-72, 6,841-yard course. Chattanooga is second with a 299 with Centenary at 300. Robert Dinwiddie led the Tigers with a one-under par 71. Dinwiddie is second overall, trailing Chattanooga's Stephen Fritsch who shot a 70. Stu Michaels had 73 and is in eighth place. Mark Searle and Jordan Robert each shot a 74 and stand in a 10th place tie. Other team scores were Jackson State 302, New Orleans 03, Murray State and Nicholls State 304, North Alabama 305, Tennessee-Martin 306, Birmingham 315, and Lipscomb 319. The final round will be held Tuesday.
