Flying Tigers Earn Seventh at the Austin Peay Cross Country Festival

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. --- Larry McNary and Marcus Abdul continued their standout freshmen seasons on Saturday, helping the Tennessee State men’s cross country team earn a seventh-place finish at the Austin Peay Cross Country Festival.

McNary was TSU’s top finisher for the second meet in a row, completing the four-mile race in 20:38.3 for 31st place. Abdul picked up a 37th place finish in 21:00.3 for second on the team.

Tennessee State finished with 192 points for seventh place, while Memphis won the team competition with 20 points.
