Cross Country Continues at Chattanooga's PowerAde Invitational

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee State men’s and women’s cross country teams will be back on the course as they continue the 2015 season. The two squads will travel to Chattanooga to take part in the 2015 PowerAde Invitational.

The women will get the meet started with a two-mile run at 5:45 ET on the Moccasin Bend Race Course. The men will follow with a 5K race.

The Tigers will face-off against Austin Peay, Jacksonville State, Kennesaw State, Middle Tennessee and Chattanooga. The women will face the same field, as well as Alabama A&M and Georgia State.

Kenyana Hampton led the Tigerbelles last week at the Belmont Opener as she completed the 5K run in a time of 20:40.3. Quamel Prince was the first Tiger to cross the finish line and stopping the clock at 16:49.1.
