Christina Carroll joined the Athletic Training staff at Tennessee State University in January of 2016. She joins the staff with seven years professional experience as a Certified Athletic Trainer. Prior her time at TSU, Carroll was employed by NovaCare and was acting as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at The Lincoln University, a CIAA institution located in Pennsylvania, working with eleven Division II sports.
Carroll received her Master’s Degree in Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation from the University of Kent in the United Kingdom in the fall of 2014. She received her undergraduate degree in Athletic Training from Wingate University near Charlotte, North Carolina in 2008.
Carroll is certified by the Board of Certification (BOC) and is a licensed athletic trainer by both the Tennessee Board of Regents and Pennsylvania Board of Medical Examiners. She has served as Medical Staff at the Collegiate Rugby Championships and has spent several summers working as Athletic Trainer for Summer Camp with the NY Knicks.
