Tersoo Uhaa joined the Tennessee State Strength and Conditioning staff in August of 2016. After serving as the Assistant Coordinator for two seasons, Uhaa was promoted to Director of Strength and Conditioning in the spring of 2018.
Prior to his arrival in Nashville, Uhaa worked as an assistant strength and conditioning coach at Arkansas State University where he assisted with all aspects of football training.
Uhaa was a standout running back at Furman University, garnering All-Southern Conference accolades three times in addition to being named to the All-Freshman team in his first season.
Upon graduation, the Stone Mountain, Ga. native went on to work as a weight training coach at Mount Pisgah Christian School in Georgia. He went on to intern with the Strength and Conditioning program at Georgia Tech during the 2015-16 academic year.
Uhaa graduated from Furman University in 2012 with a degree in Health and Exercise Science.
