NASHVILLE --- The Tennessee State University men's basketball program hosted the second annual Brian "Penny" Collins Elite Camp Saturday in the Gentry Center.
The camp welcomed over 70 participants from eight states to the all-day event, with activities beginning at 10 a.m.
Instructed by TSU's basketball coaches and players, the campers showed off individual skills such as shooting, defense and had a chance to show off their hops with dunking contests.
The final hours of the day were spent in team competition with TSU's men's basketball student-athletes coaching the six teams across the gym.
Former Tiger and current Timberwolves small forward Robert Covington closed the camp with some words of wisdom on improving everyday game, college recruitment and using those around you to continue to grow.
Coaches from six other colleges and universities were in attendance.
