Ford to Speak at Event during Domestic Violence Awareness Month

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – As part of Tennessee State University’s Domestic Violence Awareness Month initiative, TSU men’s basketball Head Coach Dana Ford will speak at “The Heart is a Terrible Thing to Waste” on Saturday, Oct. 24 on campus at the Floyd Payne Campus Center – The Forum.

The event, which is presented by My Sisters Keeper – TSU in conjunction with the Keepers of the Heart, is scheduled for 10 a.m. through 1 p.m. in Room #210.

The theme for the program is a discussion on healthy and unhealthy relationships. Ford, who is in his second season as TSU’s head coach, will serve as a guest speaker alongside film producer Janks Morton, Dr. Patricia Jackson and Kimberly Groves.
