NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Fans of the Tennessee State men’s basketball team will have the opportunity to watch the Tigers play on national and regional television stations during the upcoming 2015-16 season.
On Wednesday, the Ohio Valley Conference announced that one TSU game and a total of 10 basketball games from around the conference will be broadcasted by Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. on the American Sports Network. For the Tigers, the Jan. 28 game at Tennessee Tech has been selected for an ASN broadcast.
The American Sports Network is an initiative of the Sinclair Networks Group, LLC, owned by Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc., which owns and operates programs and provides sales serves to 164 television stations in 79 markets, reaching approximately 43 percent of U.S. television households. It includes FOX, ABC, CBS, MyTV, CW, NBC, Univision and Azteca affiliates.
The exact stations each of the games will air will be announced at a later date.
The TSU men’s basketball team will also play on national television as the Dec. 29 game at Tennessee will air on ESPNU.
Earlier this month, the OVC announced that the conference semifinals will air on ESPNU, and the championship game is slotted for ESPN 2.
