Coaches vs. Cancer Luncheon Information

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Tennessee State University men’s basketball coach Dana Ford will participate in the 2015 Coaches vs. Cancer Luncheon on Oct. 29 at Allen Arena on the campus of Lipscomb University. The program, which is a collaboration between the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches, raises funds for cancer awareness and advocacy programs.

Running from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 29, Ford will serve as one of the speakers in a panel discussion. Coaches from Lipscomb, Vanderbilt, Belmont, Austin Peay and Middle Tennessee will also be involved.

The panel discussion will be followed by a guest keynote speaker.

Fans in attendance will also have the opportunity to challenge the coach of their choice to a Pop-A-Shot Competition during the first hour of the event.
