TSU Holds Inaugural Dana Ford Basketball Camp

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee State men’s basketball coaching staff completed the inaugural Dana Ford Basketball Camp, Thursday.

Approximately 60 campers took part in the four-day event that featured instruction from the entire TSU coaching staff. Kids ages five-and-up learned the fundamentals of the game such as dribbling, passing and proper defensive form while having fun in a positive atmosphere.

In addition to a free camp t-shirt, the children were treated to lunch sponsored by Chik-fil-a on day one and pizza from current basketball pros and former TSU Tigers Robert Covington and Patrick Miller.
