NASHVILLE, Tenn. – On Nov. 9, former Tennessee State University men’s basketball player Wil Peters signed to play with the Bowling Green Bandits in the American Basketball Association.
Peters played his entire collegiate career at TSU. From 2008 to ’12 he wore Big Blue and patrolled the backcourt. He scored 951 points in his career as well as racked up 386 assists and 109 steals.
After graduating from TSU, Peters traveled to Germany where he was the starting point guard for the BSW Sixers in Sandersdorf. He will be the starting point guard, and a team captain, for Bowling Green upon joining the team.
“I feel good about this opportunity to return to playing on a professional level,” Peters said. “This will give me a platform to sharpen my skills and further my career to another stage.”
The Bandits began their season on Nov. 9 and play until the first week of March. They play their home games at Western Kentucky’s EA Diddle Arena.
