NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Tennessee State men’s basketball player Patrick Miller was named to the All-OVC Team by College Hoops Daily for his work in 2013’s non-conference action.
Prior to TSU’s contest against Middle Tennessee State, Miller averaged 20.9 points per contest in 13 games played. The senior Chicago, Ill. was also pulling down 4.4 boards while dishing out 4.3 assists.
Miller led the Tigers in scoring in 11 of TSU’s 13 non-conference games and even set a new career-high with 30 points against New Mexico State on Nov. 9 in Hawai’i. The senior leader was named to the Outrigger Hotels Rainbow Classic All-Tournament Team for his memorable performance.
The four-year starter was selected to the Preseason All-OVC Team by the conference prior to the season’s tip-off and he has earned the honor, and is currently second in the league in points per game (20.9).
