Nashville, Tenn. - The John Cooper Tiger Boys Basketball Camp held on the campus of Tennessee State University ended its first ever session on Thursday, June 24, with nearly 40 campers participating.
The four-day camp started on Monday, June 21, and focused on the fundamentals of basketball while giving participants a memorable atmosphere inside the Gentry Center. From the first day, campers were exposed to motivational speeches and quality instruction from the staff.
"Our first priority was to make sure the camp was fun for all our participants while giving them a strong learning experience," said TSU Basketball head coach John Cooper. "Our staff took a personal interest in assisting the development and the improvement of each individual's game. We want to thank the parents for their support and the campers for participating. We had a great turnout this year and we hope to see more campers sign up next summer."
