Tennessee State University head men's basketball coach Cy Alexander has announced the signing Emmanuel Gaiter, a 6-4, 220 lb. swing player from Waukegan, Illinois. Gaiter comes to the Tiger program from Wabash Valley Community College (Mt. Carmel, IL) where he averaged 10.6 ppg on the 17-8 Warrior team. Emmanuel prepped at Waukegan high school (Waukegan, IL) where he averaged over 21 points and 8 rebounds a game. He finished his careet and the second leading scorer in the history of the school. He was also a three-year All Conference player and an All-Stater as a senior. "We are looking forward to this young man joining our program," says coach Alexander. "He is a very versatile athlete who can be creative offensively, with great explosion." Gaiter will compete for the Tigers as a junior in the 2007-08 season.
