PRICE NAMED OVC ROOKIE OF WEEKFOR FIFTH TIME THIS SEASON

NASHVILLE --- Tennessee State freshman guard Bruce Price has been named Ohio Valley Conference Rookie of the Week for the fifth time in his first collegiate season, the OVC office in Brentwood has announced. Price averaged 19 points a game as TSU posted a 2-1 record in OVC action last week. In a narrow loss at Eastern Kentucky, the freshman guard made 4-of-8 three-point attempts and finished with 25 points. Price scored 14 points in a win over EIU and tallied 18 in a victory over Southeast Missouri and helped seal the game by making all six free throw attempts down the stretch. For the week, Price shot 53.3 percent from long-range (8-of-15) and 72.4 percent at the foul line (21-of-29) while also clearing 11 rebounds and handing out 11 assists.
