CHARLESTON, Ill. --- Tennessee State saw Eastern Illinois open second half play with a 14-0 run and the Panthers were able to roll to a 96-67 win over the Tigers Saturday night. Henry Domercant, the nation’s second-leading scorer in Division I play, led the Panthers with 28 points. J.R. Reynolds added 17. TSU (2-18, 0-8) was led by senior guard Josh Cooperwood ‘s 16 points. Freshman guard Adrian Pritchett added 14 points in his fifth start of the season. The Tigers shot 50 percent in the opening half, but made just 8 of 26 field goals (31 percent) in the second half to finish at 41 percent for the game. TSU was also hurt on the boards where EIU held a 51-27 advantage. TSU hosts Austin Peay Tuesday night in a game which was originally scheduled for Jan. 18.
