NASHVILLE --- Chris Rowland has been named to the Associated Press FCS All-America Team as announced on Tuesday. Rowland earned a spot on the first team as an all-purpose player.
The senior played in 12 games, amassing 2,110 all purpose yards as a wide receiver and a return specialist. Rowland finished second in the nation in all purpose yards per game with 175.8 per game. The Nolensville, Tenn. product only played in 11 games as a receiver and returner, but served as the holder for kicker Antonio Zita in the 11th contest of the season at UT Martin. Rowland's adjusted all purpose yards per game finished at 191.8.
This marks the third All-America team Rowland has been named to for his 2019 performance. The fourth-year was named to the BOXTOROW HBCU All-America squad and the HERO Sports FCS All-America team.
