My TSU Experience: Terrell Bonds

Terrell Bonds played in 41 games, starting 30, during his four-year career on the football team. Bonds picked off four passes as a senior giving him 10 over his time in blue, which placed him in a tie for sixth all-time in the TSU record books for interceptions. The cornerback concluded his career with 30 pass deflections and 20 breakups.

Terrell earned a bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Tennessee State on May 5. He recently shared his experience with

A: Very fun and it went by fast.

TSUTigers: What do you love most about TSU?
A: My teammates

TSUTigers: What will you miss most about TSU?
A: Game day

TSUTigers: What is your most memorable moment in your sport at TSU?
A: Freshman year, my first collegiate interception was for a touchdown on Homecoming

TSUTigers: What is your most memorable non-sport moment at TSU?
A: Boyd Hall, Freshman year

TSUTigers: What are some accomplishments/goals that you reached at TSU?
A: A had 11 interceptions in my career

TSUTigers: Do you have a favorite TSU fan/supporter? If so, who?
A: My parents

TSUTigers: What advice would you give to incoming freshman?
A: Work hard and respect elders

TSUTigers: What was your most challenging class at TSU?
A: Biology

A: Dr. Sanford

A: Coach Korn / Coach Fisher

A: How much class work I would have.
