My TSU Experience: Joseph Johnson

Joe Johnson concluded his four year career with TSU football playing in 28 games. Johnson highlighted his career with his first career interception at the Southern Heritage Classic versus Jackson State during his senior campaign. As a junior, the Nashville native stopped an Eastern Kentucky ball carrier behind the line of scrimmage on a goal line stand.

Joe graduated from TSU on Saturday, May 5 with bachelor's degree in Business Administration while earning a 3.2 GPA. He recently shared his experience with

TSUTigers: Talk about your overall TSU experience.
A:  It was a blast. I’d do another four years!  

TSUTigers: What do you love most about TSU?
A: My boys!

TSUTigers: What will you miss most about TSU?
A: The environment and the people

TSUTigers: What is your most memorable moment in your sport at TSU?
A: 60,000 fans at the Southern Heritage Classic every year!

TSUTigers: What is your most memorable non-sport moment at TSU?
A: Boyd Hall – freshman year

TSUTigers: What are some accomplishments/goals that you reached at TSU?
A: Degree, play ball, environment

TSUTigers: Do you have a favorite TSU fan/supporter? If so, who?
A: My parents. Biggest fan

TSUTigers: What advice would you give to incoming freshman?
A: Don’t procrastinate. Stay out of trouble.

TSUTigers: What was your most challenging class at TSU?
A: Business Law

TSUTigers: Who have been the most influential people to you at TSU?
A: My peers

A: MBA, Internships
