Dunker Named to Reese's Senior Bowl Watch List

MOBILE, Ala. – Tennessee State offensive lineman Jessamen Dunker has been named to the 2016-17 Reese’s Senior Bowl Watch List. Dunker is one of 34 FCS players who are represented on the watch list and the lone player from the Ohio Valley Conference.

The Senior Bowl's 2017 Watch List includes more than 400 student athletes of the more than 1,200 players who are eligible to play in the 2017 game from nearly every level of college football. These players are looking to fill the 110 roster spots that form the North and South squads for the nation's premier all-star game. A player not on the initial list can be added to the watch list during the season and be invited to the 2017 game.

Dunker played in all 10 games in 2015 and 35 in during his career, starting 33. The Boynton Beach, Fla. native was selected to the Ohio Valley Conference Preseason All-Conference team and has been listed on multiple Pre-Season All-American teams in 2016.

The senior looks to continue a tradition of Big Blue Offensive Linemen who have selected for the game. Former Tiger Kadeem Edwards was a member of the 2013-14 game, while Robert Myers was a member of the showcase for 2014-15.

The Senior Bowl will be played on Saturday, Jan. 28, 2017, inside Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile, Ala. The game will be televised on the NFL Network.
