NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee State football team continued its spring season, Wednesday, with a 2-hour practice on the team’s top field.
Among the highlights was the increased competition between the TSU quarterbacks. The two front-runners for the job, Ronald Butler and Oshay Ackermann-Carter, both looked impressive on timing routes and deep passes.
Whoever starts for TSU next fall will have big shoes to fill with the departure of the school’s all-time leader in passing yardage Mike German.
The Tigers’ next practice is scheduled for Friday at 2 p.m.
