Tigers Top HSRN Poll

Hartly, DE – The 2013 Heritage Sports Radio Network (HSRN) football poll FCS champion, Tennessee State, begins the 2014 season on top of the HSRN 2014 Preseason poll.

In the Division I FCS poll, the top five 2014 Preseason teams remain the same led by Tennessee State, Bethune Cookman, South Carolina State, Southern and Alcorn State. The North Carolina A&T Aggies begin in the sixth spot, up from eighth in the final 2013 poll. Jackson State dropped from sixth to eighth with the Howard Bison moving to ninth, replacing Prairie View A&M. Delaware State dropped out of the top ten from 2013.

TSU will square off against the No. 7 Alabama State Hornets on Sept. 6 and the No. 8 Jackson State Tigers the following week.
