Eugene Clifford Gains Additional All-America Honors

 

Tennessee State’s Eugene Clifford continues to receive 2010 All-America honors as he was named to The Sports Network/Fathead.com and Phil Steele FCS All-America first team on Wednesday, December 22, 2010. Last week, he was also to the Box2Row Black College All-American first team.

With these two latest honors, Clifford has been named to five All-America first teams with only the Sheridan Broadcasting Network’s Black College All-American and College Sporting News teams remaining for him to become a consensus All-American. The SBN Black College All-America and CSN teams are still to be announced.

Clifford remains a national finalist for the Sports Network/Fathead.com’s  Buck Buchannan Award emblematic  of the top defensive player in the NCAA Football Championship Subdivision (FCS).
