Atlanta Football Classic Still as Scheduled

Nashville, Tenn. - Organizers for the Atlanta Football Classic and its events have announced that the football game between Tennessee State University and Florida A&M University, scheduled for Saturday, September 26th, at 2;30 p.m. at the Georgia Dome(CDT) will not be canceled due to the recent flooding in the metro-area.

Administrators also mentioned that the downtown area was not effected by the flood and majority of the damage occured on the outside of the city.

Fans can still purchase tickets on the first floor of the Gentry Center. Ticket prices are $10 for the upper level and $20 for the lower level. Students may only purchase two tickets with valid student ID.

While in Atlanta, TSU fans can stop by the Oak Room located in the south tower of the Omni Hotel to purchase apparel from the TSU Athletics Apparel Sale. The sale will be held Friday from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The Omni Hotel is within walking distance of the Georgia Dome.
