Nashville, Tenn. - Former Tennessee State University defensive back, Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie (DRC), has been selected to play in the 2010 NFL Pro Bowl.
It is Rodgers-Cromartie's first Pro Bowl selection while joining three Arizona Cardinal teammates representing the NFC. The 2010 Pro Bowl will be played at Landshark Stadium in Miami, Fla. on Jan. 31 and will be televised on ESPN.
Rodgers-Cromartie follows a long list of TSU football legends which include: Ed "Too Tall" Jones, Richard Dent, Claude Humphrey, Cleveland Elam and Jim Marsalis, that made appearances in the all-star game during their careers.
In his second season with the Cardinals, Rodgers-Cromartie has started all 15 games played and currently posts 50 tackles, six interceptions, including one returned for a touchdown, and three forced fumbles.
Rodgers-Cromartie was drafted by the Cardinals with the 16th pick in the first round of the 2008 NFL Draft.
