C-Lew Earns Two More All America Football Honors

Cornelius Lewis Adds CSN and TSN Football All-America to Honors


Tennessee State University offensive tackle, Cornelius Lewis has been named to the College Sporting News All-America Football Championship Division first team. He was previously named to the Associated Press FCS first team. He has also been named to the TSN (The Sports Network) All-America  2nd team at offensive tackle.

Lewis, a 6-5, 310 lb, senior from Jacksonville, Fla., is a two-time All-Ohio Valley Conference 1st team player. C-Lew transferred to TSU from Florida State in 2007 and quickly earned a starting spot, played and started in all eleven (11) TSU games in 2007. In 2008, he had 35 knock down blocks  and has blocked on an offensive line that in 2007 and 2008 has led the OVC in rushing...Has also blocked for a 1000+yard rusher over the past two seasons...Did not give up a sack in 2008.

Lewis is  joined by four other Ohio Valley Conference players on the CSN team and by teammates Cecil Newton (third team) and Javarris Williams (Honorable Mention) on the TSN teams.
