Nashville, Tenn. - Tiger football head coach James Webster will answer telephone calls on-air during a radiothon on The George Plaster Sports Talk Show on 104.5 The Zone on June 4th. The radiothon proceeds will go to supporting the Charles Davis Foundation.
As official sponsor of both the Southern Heritage Classic and Tennessee State University, Allstate Insurance Company will donate to the 104.5 The Zone Charles Davis Foundation Radiothon 40 tickets (20 pairs) to the 2009 Southern Heritage Classic.
This year is the 20th Anniversary of the SHC with the Tigers facing off against Jackson State on September 12th at the Liberty Bowl in Memphis, Tenn.
The tickets are to be used as a donation incentive during the hour of 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. when Coach Webster is on-air answering the telephones.
For the first 20 people that donate $100, Allstate will give two tickets to the 2009 Southern Heritage Classic. All ticket proceeds goes to the Charles Davis Foundation in Nashville. The number to the radiothon will be release on June 4th.
