TIGER FOOTBALL QUARTERBACK BRYSON ROSSERFEATURED IN HCA-OVC STUDENT ATHLETE SPOTLIGHT

NASHVILLE --- Tennessee State junior football player Bryson Rosser has been recognized in the HCA-OVC Student Athlete Spotlight, as sponsored by the HCA's TriStar Families of Hospitals. Each week, two OVC student-athletes are featured who are making a difference in their communities. Rosser, who will be a senior next season for the TSU Tiger football team, is a member of the university's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. Rosser volunteers locally as a tutor in the Nashville public school system. He also participates in reading programs at schools. A resident of Hackensack, N.J., Rosser is a very active in his hometown. He has served as volunteer coach and referee with the winter/summer basketball league. He also donates his time to the YMCA and the Martin Luther King, Jr. Senior Citizen and Youth Center. Rosser is majoring in elementary education and is an honor student. He started most of the Tiger games at quarterback last season, completing 101-209 passes for 1,219 yards and 10 touchdowns. Rosser is joined by Morehead State volleyball player Diana Zipp as this week's honorees.
