TIGERS SEVENTH IN LATEST SBN POLL

PITTSBURGH --- The Tennessee State football team is ranked seventh in the latest SBN Sports Black College Football Poll that was released Monday evening. The Tigers received 83 total points. Grambling State (7-2) is the two-time defending champions and leads the way with 290 points and gathered 29 of 30 possible first place votes. North Carolina A&T was second followed by Southern, Bethune Cookman, Hampton, Alabama A&M, the TSU Tigers, Fayetteville State, Alabama State, and Florida A&M. The Tigers have won two games in a row and won four out of their last five games. TSU shares the lead in the Ohio Valley Conference.
