Assistant Athletic Trainer
Joseph Rollins joined the Tennessee State University Sports Medicine staff as an Athletic Trainer Intern in August 2017. He was promoted to assistant trainer in August 2019.
Rollins will work primarily with football and women’s basketball.
He obtained his certification as an Athletic Trainer in June 2017 and is also CPR, AED and First AID certified.
While in undergrad, Rollins completed nearly 900 clinical hours working with various high school and collegiate sports including football, baseball, men and women’s basketball, softball, wrestling and soccer.
He attended the National Athletic Trainers Association Clinical Symposia in Baltimore, MD in June 2016.
A native of Lebanon, Tenn., Rollins graduated from Cumberland University with a bachelor of science in Athletic Training in May 2016.
