Chelsia Lymon
Chelsia Lymon joined the staff as an assistant women’s basketball coach in July 2014. She is responsible for scouting, academic coordinating, scheduling and on floor coaching of the guards.

Lymon comes to Tennessee State after spending one year as an assistant on the women’s basketball coaching staff at Morehead State.

A native of Georgetown and graduate of Scott County (Ky.) High School, Lymon was the state's 2005-06 Gatorade High School Player of the Year before embarking on a four-year career at Middle Tennessee State.

She was named the Sun Belt's Defensive Player of the Year as a junior when she compiled a league-best 95 steals, which ranked among the nation's top 20. Lymon still ranks second in career steals at MTSU with 297.

Lymon helped guide the Blue Raiders to 105 wins and four postseason appearances, including two NCAA Tournament berths. She graduated with her bachelor's degree from MTSU in 2010.

At SCHS, Lymon was rated the state's No. 2 recruit and the top point guard. She was also a McDonald's All-American nominee. Lymon scored more than 2,300 career points.
