Brentwood, Tenn. - The Ohio Valley Conference announced its 14-member all-conference team on Wednesday and among the selected is Tennessee State's Erika Moss and Naomi Wells.
Wells joins the team for the first time after missing all of last season. For Moss, the inclusion on the team is her second in as many years.
Moss, a native of Fort Wayne, Ind., had another strong season, recording 1139 assists and breaking TSU's all-time record for career assists.
Moss' 10.26 assist per set average ranks her third in the OVC, and she has recorded at least 30 assists in 23 matches including her last 16.
Wells, a redshirt sophomore from Huntsville, Ala., was second in the conference in points with 462 on the year. She also ranked second in the OVC in kills per set with 3.69.
Wells was a consistent force for the Tigers all year, and recorded 10-plus kills in 22 matches. She also had double-doubles in 16 matches, including 12 of her last 13.
Wells also finished second on the team with 324 digs.
Moss and Wells will try to lead the Tigers' to another victory on Nov. 15 against Austin Peay at 3:30 p.m.
