Nashville, Tenn. - On Thursday, Nov. 1, Tennessee State men's basketball coach Travis Williams will take part in the American Cancer Society Coaches vs. Cancer Tip-Off Luncheon at the Belmont University Curb Event Center.
The event is open to all Big Blue supporters, and includes lunch and a chance to bid on autographed memorabilia, one-of-a-kind experiences and trips.
TSU fans will also get a chance to meet Coach Williams and hear how he has been preparing for his first season as coach of the Tigers.
Williams will share the podium with other men's basketball coaches from around the area including Austin Peay's Dave Loos, Belmont's Rick Byrd, Lipscomb's Scott Sanderson, Middle Tennessee State's Kermit Davis and Vanderbilt's Kevin Stallings.
The event starts at 11 a.m. and runs until 1 p.m. Tickets start at 25 dollars for students and 35 dollars for non-students with all proceeds going to fund cancer research.
