Nashville, Tenn.- Tennessee State University cross country head coach Chandra Cheeseborough-Guice announced the 2012 men and women's cross country teams' schedule on Friday.

The teams will travel to seven meets including the Ohio Valley Conference Championship.

The season starts on Sept. 7 when the squads travel to Chattanooga, Tenn. for the PowerAde Invitational.

The next weekend, the teams stay in Nashville for the Commodore Classic hosted by Vanderbilt University on Sept.15.

In the sole regular-season trip outside of the Volunteer State., the Tigers travel to Daytona Beach, Fla. for the B-CU Beach Invite on Sept. 21 and the Asics Embry-Riddle Classic on Sept. 22.

The squads return to participate in the Tennessee Tech Invitational in Cookeville, Tenn. on Oct. 5. TSU closes out the regular season with the Front Runner Invitational hosted by UT Chattanooga on Oct. 13.

The season wraps up on Oct. 27 when the teams go to Oxford, Ala. for the OVC Championship.
