It is the mission of the Tennessee State University Sports Medicine Staff to provide each student-athlete with the opportunity to perform at the highest possible level throughout his or her career. We strive to provide the most efficient and effective care available to help prevent, manage, and treat athletic related injuries in conjunction with the administration, coaching staff, and the student-athletes themselves.
Our methods are based on sound medical and rehabilitative principles in conjunction with consideration for personal and team goals. These guidelines are based on those outlined by the NCAA and on ethical medical practice. We are committed to providing professional and proficient care for all those in our charge.
