The Lady Tiger basketball team will continue OVC action on Thursday with a home contest against Murray State. Tip-off is slated for 5:15 p.m. in the Gentry Center. The last time TSU won was against Murray State.
LADY TIGER REVIEW
Tennessee State is coming off two tough road losses last week. TSU fell to MSU, 82-84, before eventully falling to EKU, 86-91, in double overtime.
TSU put up the most points it has all season (84.0 ppg) and had four players average double-digits over both games: Tayla Foster (22.0 ppg), Meredith Stafford (17.0 ppg), Kim Haynes (14.0 ppg), Kesi Hess (10.5 ppg).
The Lady Tigers shot 46 percent from the field, including 45.7 percent from longe range. TSU, however, struggled from the free-throw line and only managed a 55.3 shooting percentage from the charity stripe.
TSU BY THE NUMBERS
Tennessee State is averaging 59.0 points per game while shooting 31.5 percent from the field, including 31.5 percent from three-point range. TSU is averaging 37.2 rebounds and 20.7 turnovers per game. The Lady Tigers turn in 11.8 assists, 7.1 steals, and 2.1 blocks per outing.

ABOUT MURRAY STATE
Murray State has dropped three straight and is coming off an, 86-64, loss to UT Martin at home on Saturday.
The Racers are averaging 62.9 points per game while shooting 36.5 percent from the field. Three players are averaging double-digits in scoring led by Mariah Robinson's 15.2 ppg. Kayla Lowe turns in 10.7 ppg while Jessica Winfrey turns in 10.0 points and nine rebounds per game.
The Lady Tigers will meet the Racers for the 49th time in the all-time series history, with Murray State holding a 30-18 advantage. TSU claimed the first meeting of the series with a, 60-57, win over MSU on the road.
TSU vs. MURRAY STATE FIRST TIME AROUND
An offensive rebound and put back by Tayla Foster with only eight seconds remaining in the game helped Tennessee State defeat Murray State, 60-57, in the CFSB Center.
TSU had three players post double-digits in scoring led by freshman Tayla Foster's 16 points (six rebounds). Senior Meredith Stafford tallied 11 points while freshman Alana Morris recorded 10 points and five rebounds. Sophomore Simone Hopes led the Lady Tigers with seven rebounds.

LADY TIGER LEADERS
Lone senior Meredith Stafford is the only Lady Tiger averaging double-digits with 11.3 ppg. Freshman Tayla Foster (10.4 ppg) is the team's second leading scorer while Alana Morris (5.2 rpg) and Simone Hopes (4.9 rpg) lead the team in rebounding.
TSU will continue its three-game home stint with a home game vs. UT Martin. Game time is slated for 5:30 p.m. in the Gentry Center.
