Nashville, Tenn. - The Tigers will look to break a three-game skid on the season when they host Tennessee at Martin.
The OVC game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 5, at 7:30 p.m. at the Gentry Center.
TSU (10-12, 7-5 OVC) holds the winning side of a, 28-21, series record against UTM. The Tigers have won the last three meetings including a, 67-64, win at the Skyhawks' Elam Center earlier this season.
Moore averages team highs in points (15.5 ppg) and rebounds (7.5 rpg). Miller posts 11.5 ppg and Peters averages 10.6 ppg and a team best 4.4 assist average.
The Tigers are coming off their first OVC loss at home on Thursday after suffering a, 74-65, loss to Murray State. Moore led three Tigers who scored double digits with 17 points on the night. RECAP...
The Skyhawks (8-16, 3-9 OVC) are also looking for a win after dropping their last two contests. They fell at Austin Peay State on Thursday, 82-53. Before encountering back-to-back losses, the Skyhawks were riding a four-game win streak; which was sparked by a win over Jacksonville State to stop a 12-game drought in conference play.
Benzor Simmons (12.6 ppg), Reuben Clayton (11.6 ppg), Mike Liabo (10.8 ppg), and Terence Smith (10.7 ppg) help power the Skyhawks' offense.
Along with freshmen, Liabo and Smith, Troy King has helped fuel UTM. All three received OVC Freshman of the Week twice this season with Smith earning his second honor this week.
Next up for TSU, the Tigers will head back on the road for league play when they travel to Jacksonville State on Monday, Feb. 7. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. and will air on CSS.
