 Miguel Brady

Miguel Brady begins his sixth season with the Tennessee State men's basketball program. In July 2012, Brady was elevated to the Director of Basketball and Video Operations.

In that capacity, Brady will oversee multiple levels of the men's basketball program including administrative duties, academic progress, team travel, recruiting, film editing and summer camps.

The Nashville native previously served as the video coordinator for the Tigers. Brady joined the program under Coach Cy Alexander and remained in that capacity with John Cooper. In 2011-12, Brady helped the Tigers to a 20-win season for the first time in 32 years and a post-season berth for the first time since 1996.

Before his arrival at TSU, Brady spent three years as an assistant at Dyer County High School in Newbern, Tenn. There, Brady helped build a struggling program into a perennial state contender. In his final year at Dyer County, the Choctaws posted 28 victories and finished as a state semifinalist.

Prior to his arrival at Dyer County, Brady launched his coaching career as the varsity assistant coach at Harding Academy in Memphis.

Brady graduated from TSU in 2012 with a bachelor's degree. Brady has one daughter, Dominique.  Enriched in TSU tradition, Brady's father Herman spent 33 years as a professor at Tennessee State.
