Nashville --- The Tennessee State University volleyball team has signed Rachel Ambroch to a National Letter-of-Intent as announced by head coach Kathy Roulhac.

Ambroch is a senior at Franklin High School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The 5-11 outside hitter recorded 300 kills, 142 digs, 43 blocks and 30 total service aces in 2010. She averaged 3.9 kills per game as a senior and has a career best of 29 kills in a match.

During her junior campaign, Ambroch was named to the All-Southeast Conference North Division team. She is the daughter of Mike and Patti Ambroch and is planning to major in Biology at Tennessee State.

"Rachel will be looked at to make an immediate impact in the outside hitting position," said head coach Kathy Roulhac. "Rachel's height and her ability to play anywhere across the front line makes her a great prospect for our volleyball team. I'm very excited about her ability and I looked forward to her being a Tiger Volleyball Player."
