Tennessee State University softball coach Jeff Dabney will host his annual camps next month. Coach Dabney and his staff produce one of the most detail oriented camps in the country.

The third year coach will offer four different types of camps: Hitting/Slapping (July 10), All Skills (July 16 & 17), Slapping (July 23) and Hitting (July 24).

All camps are for girls 10 and up. Three camps (Hitting/Slapping, Slapping, and Hitting) are $75 dollars and $85 at the door. The camps last from 9am until 2pm every day.

The hitting camps focus on making the campers become an all-around hitter by focusing on various fundamentals. The slapping camp works with attendees on footwork and the various techniques of slap hitting and bunting.

The two-day All Skills camp on July 16th and 17th is $125 and $150 at the door. Each day will run from 9am-4pm and will focus on all aspects of the game, while giving campers an opportunity to be exposed to live game situations.
