Tennessee State University Head Football Coach Rod Reed will hit the air waves this week with four scheduled media appearances to talk about the upcoming 2011 Homecoming game against UT Martin on Saturday, Nov. 12.
Coach Reed's media carousel will begin on Wednesday Morning with an interview at 6:45 on 102.5 The Game. He will join 1st Quarter hosts Darren McFarland and Brad Hopkins.
He will then join his regular weekly show at 7:05 a.m. on 560 WNSR's The Morning Sports Page with David Coleman and Greg Pogue.
Coach Reed closes out Wednesday with an hour special on NewsChannel5+ SportsLine. The show will air live from 8 to 9 p.m. Fans in the local area can tune-in on Comcast Channel 250. The show will take questions from fans by calling (615) 737-7767.
On Thursday morning at 9:50 a.m., Coach Reed joins the Wake Up Zone on 104.5 and will talk with Kevin Ingram, Mark Howard and Frank Wycheck.
Coach Reed will be on 104.5 The Zone again on Friday talking with Jonathan Hutton and Chad Withrow. The interview will be at 1:50 p.m.
Coach Reed will discuss the team's recent hot streak, while also talking about other topics including Hale Stadium and Homecoming.
TSU (4-5, 3-3 Ohio Valley Conference) has won three out of their last four games. Last weekend, the Tigers tallied 13 unanswered points to pick up an 18-17 victory at Eastern Illinois.
The next two weeks will conclude the season for the Tigers, who are looking to complete a winning season for the first time since 2008.
